Some people did ballet as kids but they stopped for some reasons (health, time, or other issues), some people always dreamed to do it but there was always an obstacle to try it. Our classes are meant for adults (age 20+) and are built to help people to gain the correct and elegant posture, to learn to move with grace, to become more flexible and to have a cardio activity.
These classes are meant for all interested. In these classes you will do classical ballet exercises on the floor, at the barre and in the middle of the room.
Levels
We have different levels:
- Beginners - No experience required. You can join our classes whenever it suits you. We work slower in these classes and learn everything from the basics
- Intermediate - You should have the basic knowledge of classical ballet technics. (Positions, Basic movements)
- Advanced - For these classes we require some experience. Maybe you did some ballet before or you are member of our school for sometime. You know the basics of the classical ballet. Here we will focus on technique rather than on the basics.
- Stretching - Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. That puts you at risk for joint pain, strains, and muscle damage. Regular stretching keeps muscles long, lean, and flexible. Healthy muscles also help a person with balance problems to avoid falls.
Outfit
You should feel comfortable and be able to move. For us it's important to see the body, to be able to properly teach you and to be able to prevent injuries. For the first classes you can wear a legging (women), pants (men), top and socks. If you will decide to come regularly, you will need a uniform, ballet leotard (advised for women) and ballet shoes (mandatory).
